Jó reggelt! (or good morning)
After a hard day, it is now time to write my first words from Budapest...
Yesterday was a hard day, it started at 5am (after a very short night) to take the train from Grenoble to Geneva at 6:05am.
Once in Geneva (8:24) I had to find a way to reach the airport. For the one would will come to see me in Budapest passing by Geneva, don't try to take the bus (20min) as you may need some coins to buy a ticket in the machine. Prefer the train (there are quite many) faster (6min), it costs 3FrS, find the office...
In easyjet corner by 9:00, it is a big mess as 3 flights leave at the same time.
The flight lasted 1h40, and I arrived at 12:00.
Krisztían (a BEST connection friend) picked me at the airport and brought me to the dorm.
About the dorm, I am in a 2 bedded room which can be locked and there is a shower room and a fridge to share with another 2 bedded room. A kind of kitchen and toilets are available on the floor. There is a buffet where I can find some food, and a laundry room.
All the facilites are in the area (bus, shop) the city center is at 10 min by foot, and I have internet access in the university (5min by foot) . Anyway I manage to get lost in this huge building as I didn't remember the building.
About people, I quickly understood that Hungarian or at least German is needed to survive... My roomate can not speak English but German, it was quiet hard to communicate (I studied Gernam during 5 years but I never spoke this language). Anyway, I will manage :o) I already succeded in borrowing an umbrella :o)
The weather wasn't that good : Cloudy and 13°C. The meteo is pretty bad for the 5 upcoming days :o( I have been told that the weather would have been hot and sunny...
After that, I went for a walk in the city center. The architecture is really lovely, all the buildings are a mixed of styles... I felt like at home as I found, C&A, Mango and other shop that I could find in France...
After this hard day, I had a looong sleep (12h), and now I am just looking for buy an umbrella and a raincoat...
To contact me, my mobile (+336 87 06 75 58) is still working for sms, and I guess you can even call me... but it will cost to me a fortune...
That is all for today...
